The Rapids are coming off a long preseason which took place in several legs in Miami Mexico Spain and the team's training center in Westminster Colorado. Head Coach Fernando Clavijo says his team looks supremely fit and ready for the season.

The Rapids will also host a special viewing party for this first away game of 2006 so all fans can get together and watch it live in a great soccer atmosphere! The viewing party will take place at the British Bulldog located at 2052 Stout Street in Denver (corner of Stout and Broadway).

Rapids Week 2006 culminates with the club's 2006 Opening Night taking place on Saturday April 8 when the Mile High Club hosts the Columbus Crew at 7:00pm at Invesco Field.
