Colorado Rapids Defender Drew Moor following 1-1 tie with Chivas USA:
On the result:
"Obviously it’s a bad goal to give away. I think it was [Tristan] Bowen went down the left and put a nice cross in. [Matt] Pickens was trying to do the right thing and grab it or punch it and it just happened to go right to [Juan Pablo] Angel. That goal just seems to be the way things are going for us right now. And obviously we did create some chances going forward that we’re used to seeing go in the back of the net. It’s just a combination of things right now that aren’t going our way and it’s disappointing."
On not being able to finish:
"I don’t think it was so much the amount of attempts that we had, it was the two or three quality opportunities that we had that we’re regretting right now. It’s everybody on the field. You don’t go and single out anybody or point anybody out. At the end of the day, eleven to fourteen guys have to get the three points. Nobody’s doing what we need to do right now to get the points."
On the positives of the game
"You have to take away some positives. We played well, we created all those chances. We created good chances. Defensively I thought we were very good. We kept things tight. I thought we were concentrated. I thought we did a lot right in this game with going forward and staying solid in the back. And they had a couple of opportunities in the second half and what I would call a fortunate bounce for their goal. But that’s not what it reads in the paper obviously and we’re all disappointed right now."
