Oscar Pareja will begin the season without one of the key players from the 2012 team.
The head coach revealed to MLSsoccer.com that Jaime Castrillon will require surgery on his injured left knee.
“Jaime is going to have surgery,” Pareja told MLSsoccer.com after practice on Wednesday. “We’re going to wait on his recovery.”
Castrillon led the team with eight goals in 2012, appearing in 30 matches. No further details were released, so it at the moment it is unknown how much time the Colombian will miss.
