When Colorado Rapids fan Tess Falcone touches down at London's Heathrow Airport on Saturday morning, it will signal the beginning of the end of a fantastic journey - the #RapidsRoadTrip, presented by Dick's Sporting Goods.
As winner of the third and final leg of the #RapidsRoadTrip, Tess - who is taking her friend, Ha'Ani Hogan, as traveling companion - is set for the experience of a lifetime.
After checking into their hotel, in the shadows of the world famous Tower Bridge, the lucky pair will dine in Covent Garden, before taking in a West End show.
Sunday's highlight is undoubtedly the chance to sample some of the best soccer in the world, as they make the short journey to north London to watch Tottenham Hotspur versus Everton at White Hart Lane in the Barclays Premier League.
Further sight-seeing will follow, including a trip on the magnificent London Eye (pictured above), which will allow them to spot some of the city's most famous landmarks, such as the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and St. Paul's Cathedral.
There then follows an early start on the Monday morning for a scenic 210-mile train journey to Liverpool, home to two of the best-known teams in English soccer.
A trip to Anfield, and a tour of that iconic venue, will be followed by a visit to The Beatles Museum, before the night is spent at Leasowe Castle, which was built in 1593 by Ferdinand, 5th Earl of Derby, and second heir to the English throne!
The Rapids fans return to the English capital on Tuesday, and will be shown around Emirates Stadium as part of the Arsenal Legends Tour, before soaking up more of the city's sights.
The #RapidsRoadTrip contest was a three-leg series conducted through the Rapids website and social media platforms throughout the 2013 season. Jess Shah was the winner of the first trip to Seattle, and the Kemp family won the second leg to Portland.
