Craig Magri
Assistant Athletic Trainer
Craig Magri, now in his second season with the Colorado Rapids
as the team’s assistant athletic trainer, graduated from San Diego
State in 1994 with a degree in athletic training. Since then he has
been a volunteer trainer for one season with the San Diego Gulls, a
minor league ice hockey team, and spent two years as head athletic
trainer of the San Diego Barracudas of the now-defunct Professional
Roller Hockey League. He then spent four years at a prominent physical
therapy center in San Francisco that treated athletes from some of
California’s professional teams.
Magri is completing his fourth year with the Colorado Mammoth
as athletic trainer for the National Lacrosse League team. He lives in
Denver with his wife, Jennifer, and their children, Danielle and
Tony.
