We are proud to announce that Paul Bravo, Rapids all-time leading scorer and former US National Team member, will again be the lead instructor for the Rapids Striker Camp!

The Rapids Striker Camp is a unique program that focuses on one of the most exciting aspects of the game: creating chances and the art of finishing. This is not just for forwards; it is for any player on the field who wants to improve their attacking skills.

Small group sessions are set up to challenge individuals in repetitive game situations where attacking players need to excel: long distance shooting, combination play, 1v1’s, turning and shooting in the box, crossing and finishing,and striker movement.  Come to the 2010 Rapids Striker Camps to see an improvement in your attacking play!

By integrating the striker and goalkeeper camps and running them simultaneously, we are able to provide more game-realistic environments and competition.

These camps offer instruction where participants are grouped by age and ability, with the emphasis on individual player development. Interaction and coaching instruction by Rapids Academy Coaches with special appearances from Rapids players increases learning by giving each individual the very best examples of what it takes to be a quality soccer player.

Technique will be introduced in simplistic form and from there be worked into game-realistic environments. Specifically, players will work on passing/receiving, dribbling, moves to beat opponents, and finishing.

The Colorado Rapids Development Camps are a great opportunity to gain instruction on the fundamentals of soccer, learn the importance of staying active, and to meet new friends.
