Serna named US Soccer "Peak Performer" after 4-goal game
Colorado Rapids Academy product Dillon Serna was named as U.S. Soccer's Academy Player of the Week for Week 30 after leading the Rapids U-18 Development Academy team to a 6-2 win over Colorado Rush last week. Serna scored four goals and played the full 90 minutes the U-18 team’s victory last Friday. Shane O'Neill scored the other two goals.
Serna has appeared in 11 of the team’s 14 games this season and leads the squad with eight goals. The Rapids U-17/18 team is atop the Frontier Division with a 4-1-2 record, 8-1-5 overall.
