Sensory Inclusive Program
The Colorado Rapids have partnered with KultureCity to improve our ability to assist and accommodate guests with sensory needs. KultureCity’s sensory inclusive program is designed to help guests with sensory needs like PTSD, autism, dementia, and strokes, feel welcomed at all venues. With staff training, sensory bags and sensory signage, the program will help ensure that all guests are accepted and included regardless of the event they are attending.
As part of the program, we will have 10 sensory bags available for checkout at Guest Relations. The sensory bags include: headphones, fidget mesh, a fidget ball, a fidget tangle and a feeling thermometer. When someone checks out a bag, they will also be provided with a lanyard to wear, which will help our staff better entertain guests with sensory needs.
Countdown to Kickoff
Be in your seats 15 minutes prior to kick to welcome the Burgundy Boys and the Quakes out to the pitch, singing along to the 'Mountain Roads' anthem as loud as you can. Forgot the words? No problem! Follow the lyrics on the video board and be a part of something pure to soccer culture and a club tradition!
Join the Tradition
The flag is synonymous with the sport of soccer. It is seen as a symbol of support, used to rally the faithful. This season, we're placing flags in the hands of our fans to help raise the pre-kick atmosphere at DICK'S Sporting Goods Park. Join Centennial 38 and our Season Ticket Members in celebrating this full-stadium, fan-led tradition! If you see an unused flag at the bottom of your section, and you hear “Mountain Roads” begin and see the lyrics on the scoreboard, that is your cue to begin waving your flag until kickoff! After you're done waving the flag, please place it at the bottom of the section as you found it.
This season, the Rapids and DICK'S Sporting Goods Park will be implementing walk-through metal detectors at all gates. Fans will be asked to pass through the metal detectors before having their ticket scanned by a staff member. All items will need to be taken out of pockets. Bags will be examined by a staff member as fans enter the stadium.
Bags must be smaller than 14"x14"x6" to be allowed in the gates. Please arrive early to allow ample time to pass through the metal detectors and get your ticket scanned!
As part of its efforts to enhance security at all Colorado Rapids home games, Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) announced an agreement with Phantom K9 to help ensure a safe environment for fans, staff, athletes and performers.
Wednesday's game will be broadcast on Altitude with Richard Fleming (Play-by-Play) and Marcelo Balboa (Color Analyst). Coverage will begin at 6:30 PM.
Altitude Sports Radio is your home for Rapids vs Galaxy. Connor Cape (Play-by-Play) and Jordan Angeli (Color Analyst) will be on the call.
Man of the Match
Fans will have the opportunity to cast their vote for the official HealthONE Man of the Match honors. Pay attention to the video board at the 70th minute for information on how to cast your vote. The selected player will be announced after the final whistle.
Following the match, Centennial 38 will present a hand-painted oar to the Man of the Match on the field in front of Section 117. The presentation is one of Centennial 38's traditions carried out by members of the supporters' group to recognize the best player from each home game.
The Man of the Match will then head to Summit Club to take photos with all Summit Club ticket members.
To vote for your HealthONE Man of the Match text 'MOTM' to 762237 at Friday's game before the 85th minute.
