COMMERCE CITY, Colo. – The Colorado Rapids will host the annual Kickoff Luncheon with Colorado Rapids players and Head Coach Oscar Pareja at the Denver Marriott City Center on Wednesday, March 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. MT. All proceeds from the event, which allows supporters, partners, and other members of the community to meet and hear from Rapids players and staff, will be donated to Kroenke Sports Charities.
The event, which is presented by Westerra Credit Union, will feature keynote speaker Todd Durbin, Major League Soccer’s Executive Vice President. Rapids play-by-play commentator Todd Romero will host the event, and Rapids Technical Director Paul Bravo and Head Coach Oscar Pareja will speak about the team ahead of the 2012 season. Durbin will speak about Major League Soccer and its development both on and off the field, among other topics.
Individual tickets to the luncheon can be purchased for $100, while a table consisting of nine guests and a Rapids player or coach costs $1000. The proceeds will go to programs committed to improving the lives of children and families throughout Colorado, via Kroenke Sports Charities.
