Sam Nicholson has been named to the MLS Team of the Week (Week 13) presented by Audi following Saturday's home win against Columbus Crew SC.
The 24-year-old midfielder delivered the helper on Jonathan Lewis' goal right before halftime to give the Rapids the lead. Overall, Nicholson had a total of 22 passes, made three recoveries, two interceptions and won three duels in the match.
Nicholson and the Rapids return to action this Wednesday as they travel to Talen Energy Stadium to take on the Philadelphia Union. Kickoff is slated for 5:30 PM MT.
