Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is joining forces with the United Service Organizations (USO) and Major League Soccer (MLS) to host Operation: Back of the Net, an initiative to raise funds for and honor the men and women who selflessly serve our nation. For every goal scored by a U.S.-based MLS club between July 3 and July 7, 2019, SNHU will donate $2,000 to the USO to support transitioning service members. SNHU will also donate $1 for every piece of digital content posted during the same time period using the hashtag #SNHUGoals.

As part of Operation: Back of the Net, SNHU will also award six full-tuition scholarships to deserving service members, veterans and military spouses throughout the week. As part of the honor, each recipient will be invited to the field to be recognized for their service and to receive their scholarship.
