DICK’S SPORTING GOODS PARK ATTENDEE HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS  

The health & safety of our guests, staff, and athletes is always our top priority, and as we return to hosting games at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park, heightened sanitation, health, and safety protocols will be in place at DSGP. The new protocols follow guidelines set forth by Centers for Disease Control (CDC), State of Colorado, Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment, and Tri-County Health Department and comply with the protocols and health and safety measures mandated by Major League Soccer for conducting games with fans in indoor arenas. These health & safety protocols will be modified based on evolving standards, public health and governmental directives.  

All guests are required to comply with health and safety protocols listed. Let’s keep each other safe and healthy.

Masks Required at All Times

  • All guests age 2 and older must wear a face mask, covering their nose and mouth, at all times while at DSGP, except when actively eating or drinking in their ticketed seats.
  • This includes wearing a mask in our parking lots, outside the stadium, on the concourse in the stadium and while seated.
  • Neck gaiters, face masks with vents, and bandanas are not acceptable face coverings.
  • Face shields may not be worn in place of a face mask, though may be worn in addition to a face mask.
  • Failure to comply can result in removal/ejection from DSGP.
  • Guests may temporarily remove their masks when actively eating or drinking in their ticketed seats. This is the only time guests are permitted to remove their masks while on DSGP property.
  • Guests who are unable to wear an approved mask are not permitted to enter DSGP at this time.
  • Guests who fail to comply with the mask requirement may be removed from DSGP, without refund.

Accept Ticket Terms & Conditions and Spectator Waiver 

  • Each guest who is 18 years of age and older will be required to scan a QR code to agree to our Ticket Terms & Conditions and acknowledge a COVID-19 spectator waiver upon entry. 
  • Parents and legal guardians will need to complete this process on behalf of themselves and any of their minor children (under 18 years of age) in attendance.

Digital Ticketing

  • All tickets will be digital and paperless to allow touchless scanning from mobile devices at entry points. Guest will manage and scan their touchless tickets through the Ticketmaster mobile app.
  • Please make sure your event tickets are displayed on your phone prior to entering the security line.
  • Each ticket can be displayed on an individual phone or all tickets in your group may be presented on one mobile phone.

Specific Gate Entrance – Guests will be given a specific colored gate to enter, which corresponds to the section in the stadium where their tickets are located.

  • Gate A & B = BLUE
  • Gate C = YELLOW
  • Gates D & E = GREEN
  • Gate F = ORANGE
  • Gates G & H = BURGUNDY

If You’re Sick, Stay Home 

  • If you or any member of your party is feeling sick or has symptoms associated with COVID-19, please stay home, and do not come to DSGP.  
  • People who have COVID-19 symptoms should get tested right away and stay home except to get medical care.

Cashless 

  • DSGP is now a cash free facility. Cash will no longer be accepted as a form of payment anywhere inside DSGP.  
  • Acceptable forms of payment include: Debit cards, credit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay

No Smoking

  • To limit touchpoints and unnecessary gatherings, DSGP will now be a non-smoking facility.   
  • There will not be any outdoor smoking areas available for guests to use during events.   
  • Guests who exit the stadium to smoke will not be permitted reentry into the stadium.

Physical Distance

  • We ask that guests remain physically distanced from others outside of their ticketed group whenever possible.   
  • Seating will be comprised of “seating pods” to allow for social distancing between groups.  
  • Capacity restrictions are in place throughout the venue (in team stores, concourse, suites, etc.) to help promote a physically distant environment.  
  • When exiting your seats for concessions, restrooms or following the game, please wait for aisles to clear to avoid congestion.  
  • Stadium staff will be on hand to remind guests of these guidelines, answer questions and assist those who need it, and enforce the requirements.

Venue Ingress and Egress

  • Guests are asked to follow all posted spacing signage. 
  • When exiting the venue, guests are asked to maintain social distancing in the rows, aisles, stairs, and concourse.

No Re-Entry

  • DSGP has a no re-entry policy. Any guest that exits DSGP for any reason will not be permitted back into the stadium.

Restrooms

  • Motion-activated faucets, soap dispensers, and other touchless fixtures have been installed in all restrooms throughout DSGP to reduce surface contact.

Food & Beverage

  • Food & beverage operations will maintain the highest standards of compliance with current health and safety regulations. Distancing guidelines will be displayed to allow for proper line queuing. 
  • Guests are only permitted to consume food and beverage within their designated ticketed seat or suite. At this time, guests are prohibited from actively eating or drinking on concourses, in Eighteen76, or anywhere outside of their assigned ticketed location.  
  • Guests may temporarily remove their mask when actively eating or drinking in their ticketed seats. This is the only time guests are permitted to remove their masks while on DSGP property. 
  • No food or drink may be consumed on the concourse, or anywhere else outside of the guests assigned and ticketed seat.  
  • Staff are required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and, where appropriate, will be separated from guests by plexiglass dividers.  
  • DSGP Concessions, Suites, and Premium locations are cashless. Guests may pay with debit, credit, GooglePay, Samsung Pay or ApplePay for their convenience. Cash will NOT be accepted at DSGP to purchase food and beverage.  
  • All food and beverage items will be individually packaged – including condiments, utensils, straws, and napkins 
  • Additional condiments and utensils will be provided in individual packets upon request.  
  • No refills will be allowed on drinks or other items.

Elevators

  • Elevators will be limited to 2 guests or your ticket pod size and guests with disabilities will have priority.  
  • High touch points, such as elevator buttons, will be sanitized regularly.

Altitude Authentics

  • The Altitude Authentics Team Shop at DSGP will ONLY be open to ticketed fans during upcoming Colorado Rapids games.   
  • The Team Shops will have a limited capacity to promote physical distancing.  
  • Only debit, credit, Apple Pay, Google Pay & Samsung pay will be accepted. NO CASH will be accepted at DSGP.

Health & Safety Signage

  • To promote the venue’s new health and safety protocols, new venue signage featuring the most updated health & safety protocols (local, and State guidelines) will be communicated throughout the venue in all Parking Lots, Gate Entrance locations, common concourse areas, and high-traffic areas.
  • Communication methods will include new static stadium signage, use of stadium video boards, and use of stadium PA announcements. Such signage will cover topics including, but not limited to face masks, physical distancing, hand hygiene, and discouraging hand shaking and other forms of physical contact.

Venue Cleaning and Disinfecting Protocols

  • All Public areas including but not limited to Entrance Gates, Seating Sections, Concourses, Stadium Restrooms, and Suites shall be disinfected with protocols and standards that meet or exceed the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines prior to venue opening on event day. Application methods will include but not be limited to applied disinfectants, electrostatic sprayers, foggers, and battery-operated sprayers.  
  • All public facing areas will be fully sanitized prior to the venue opening for an event, throughout any event involving patrons, and following any event.  
  • During any event involving patrons, all regularly used public facing areas will be considered high-touch areas and will be regularly sanitized (door handles, handrails, push plates, entrance barricade, elevator buttons, point of sale terminals, and trash receptacle touch points).  
  • DICK’S Sporting Goods Park has earned the WELL Health-Safety Rating for its Soccer Stadium through the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). The WELL Health-Safety Rating is an evidence-based, third-party verified rating for all new and existing building and space types focusing on operational policies, maintenance protocols, stakeholder engagement and emergency plans to address a post-COVID-19 environment now and into the future.

COVID-19 Vaccination

  • All policies and procedures must be adhered to regardless of a person’s vaccination status.

Ticket Resale and Transfer 

  • Transfer and resale of tickets you purchase will be available. However, in order to maintain pod integrity, you must transfer or resell the entire seating pod to an individual buyer or members of a single household.

Box Office

  • The DSGP Box Offices are currently closed.

Others

To ensure DSGP is cleaned to the highest industry standard, Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, in conjunction with MLS, has implemented safe and healthy cleaning protocols that align with the CDC and CDPHE standards.

Hand Sanitizer

  • Automated hand sanitizer dispensers have been placed throughout the concourses, restrooms, elevator banks and at concession stands.

HVAC Technology

  • Changes to HVAC practices to allow for maximum use of outside air and increase air changes to boost clean air circulation during events.

Electrostatic Sprayers

  • Electrostatic sprayers are being utilized to regularly disinfect areas and surfaces within the venue for both pre and post- facility cleaning. All products used are EPA approved and effective surface disinfectant products use against COVID-19.

Plexiglass Screens

  • PlexiGuard barriers have been installed at all point-of-sale locations throughout DSGP to reduce contact between guests and staff.

WELL Health-Safety Rating

  • DICK’S Sporting Goods Park has earned the WELL Health-Safety Rating for its Soccer Stadium through the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). The WELL Health-Safety Rating is an evidence-based, third-party verified rating for all new and existing building and space types focusing on operational policies, maintenance protocols, stakeholder engagement and emergency plans to address a post-COVID-19 environment now and into the future.

Tailgating

  • No Tailgating will be permitted on the DSGP site.

Updates to the Fan Experience

  • Due to MLS protocols, players are required to maintain a minimum of 20’ distance from all ticketed areas. Thus, there will be no post-game autographs or direct interaction permitted between fans and players.
  • The Summit Club exclusive Man of the Match meet & greets that have traditionally taken place post-game will also be suspended at this time.

Assumption of Risk

  • You must follow all stadium policies, including health and safety policies and posted instructions while in the stadium and on stadium grounds.   
  • An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the CDC, senior citizens and those with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.  
  • By entering the stadium and stadium grounds, you’ve voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

* Please note that failure to comply with the health and safety measures outlined can result in removal from DSGP property.
