New for the 2024 season, the Rapids are excited to announce a weekly podcast hosted by Jordan Angeli and Drew Moor.
Free to watch on Apple TV, the first episode will drop Thursday, Feb. 22 with subsequent episodes taping on Tuesdays and being released on Thursdays ahead of a scheduled Saturday match. Audio versions of each episode will be available on Apple Podcasts and most mainstream podcast platforms.
Taped inside a new studio space at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park, the audio/video podcast will consist of two segments. First, on The Rundown, Angeli and Moor will break down and analyze the team, matches, storylines, performances, and opponents. Joining the two former pros each week will be Rapids Reporter and Insider Mike Revollo, who will provide context from around the training pitch and locker room.
“Rapids fans have a ton of great options when it comes to podcasts - Holding the Highline, Centennial 38 and the DNVR team do a great job for fans on a weekly basis,” said Alex McGeorge, VP of Media for the Rapids. “Our internal media team is lucky to have a great vantage point when it comes to coverage of the club, so when you combine that access with Drew and Jordan’s incredible knowledge of the sport, we’re hoping we can provide fans with a unique podcast option each week.”
The Rundown segment will be followed by an exclusive interview with a special guest in a segment called The Conversation. The podcast’s premiere will feature Head Coach Chris Armas as he gives fans insight on preseason and the final preparations heading into the season opener against Portland.
“I’m really excited to be a part of the Rapids podcast again,” Moor said. “Being able to hang out with Jordan and Mike to talk Rapids soccer, chat with some great guests, and give a bit of an inside look at the club with maybe a dad joke or two will hopefully be something the fans will enjoy and look forward to each week.”
