Commerce City, Colo. - In the spirit of the Holidays, the Colorado Rapids Front Office staff oparticipated in the Annual KSE Day of Service on Wednesday by volunteering at two different locations in the Denver area
Staff members from a collection of departments honored the work of the late Marisa Colaiano by volunteering at Mount Saint Vincent Home. Marisa had led the Rapids efforts last year, in partnership with MLS W.O.R.K.S and Kroenke Sports Charities, to completely refurbish the computer lab at MSVH. On Wednesday the staff decorated the cafeteria with a holiday theme and sorted out presents that will be distributed to the children.
With as much good will, another group of staff members went to the Denver Rescue Mission, where they prepared and served food for the city's homeless.
Since 1892, the Denver Rescue Mission has been meeting the needs of the poor and homeless through emergency services, community outreach, long-term rehabilitation, transitional program, and assistance for permanent housing.
Mount Saint Vincent Home is home and school for abused, neglected or mentally ill girls and boys ages 5 to 13. The Home also includes a community early learning center and a therapeutic early learning center.
