Colorado Rapids defender Chris Klute is fully recovered from the hamstring strain which forced his early withdrawal from the team's opening game of the season, a 1-1 tie at New York Red Bulls on March 15.
The 24-year-old is now working his way back to match sharpness, which could take another week or so.
“The hamstring is good, 100%," Klute explained. "I’ve been training full since Friday with the reserve guys, going all out.
"Even though I’m 100%, I’m probably not totally match fit yet. I’ll take probably this week and next week to get my fitness back and then go from there.”
During his enforced absence, Klute's role at left back has been taken by the experienced Marc Burch.
