Lily Cardenas

Rapids 2 Team Manager

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Cardenas arrives to Rapids 2 with an extensive knowledge of team administration.

She began her career in sports with the Houston Dynamo after graduating from the University of Houston with B.S in Psychology and B.S. in Kinesiology (Emphasis in Sports Administration). Through nearly a decade with the Dynamo, Cardenas began as the Executive Assistant to the Academy Director and eventually moved into the position of Director of Adminitration and Operations, supporting the development of off-field operations and administration of the Academy program.

Cardenas also has worked with U.S. Soccer, joining camps and tournaments such as U-19 WNT Domestic Training Camp in October 2024, U-15 GNT Training Camp in November 2024, U-19 WNT International Tournament in February 2025, and U-18 WNT Domestic Training Camp in March 2025 as the teams' administrator during those periods.

In her free time, Cardenas enjoys traveling, biking, tennis and watching movies.
