After a productive training camp stint in Melbourne, Florida, Rapids 2 announced their full, Colorado-based schedule on Tuesday. In preparation for an anticipated March 27 season opener the team will face opponents that include both of Colorado’s NCAA Division I men’s soccer teams and both of Colorado’s USL professional teams.
Colorado's newest MLS NEXT Pro team will travel to Colorado Springs for its first of four preseason matches when they take on Air Force Academy on February 27. From there, Rapids 2 will face USL side Colorado Switchbacks FC on March 6 before going up against University of Denver on March 12. Their final preseason match will be with Colorado Hailstorm FC on March 20 in preparation for the MLS NEXT Pro Opening Weekend on March 26-28.
A full 2022 MLS NEXT Pro Schedule and ticketing information will be announced at a later date.
