COMMERCE CITY, Colo. - Colorado Rapids 2 has been named the MLS NEXT Pro Mid-Season Team of the Year, the league announced today.

“We are grateful to be recognized at the midpoint of a very long race and the club is on track to reach its goals,” said Brian Crookham, Rapids 2 General Manager. “From a competitive standpoint we are top of the league, but we take great pride in the fact that this group has been able to contribute to the first team roster with short term call-ups. The consistent quality of the competition will really challenge us as we look to maintain elite standing in the league as we approach the finish line.”
