Before Departing Home
- Please ensure to bring a mask with you. You will be required to wear one at all times while at DICK’s Sporting Goods Park.
Media Parking
- Media may park anywhere in the Victory North Lot (see map below)
Media Entrance & Check-In
- The Media Entrance will continue to be located near Gate H (entrance is labeled “Media Entrance” and is denoted by the red marker in the map above). Media Check-In will open 90 minutes before kickoff.
- All media will be required to complete a Standardized Screening Questionnaire (SSQ) upon arrival. The link to the SSQ will be posted via QR codes near the Media Entrance, which you can scan with your phone’s camera. You will not be allowed into the facility until you have submitted the SSQ.
- If approved to enter the facility after taking the SSQ, you must wear the provided red lanyard with your credential at all times. Photographers who have been approved for field-level access will receive a yellow lanyard (see ‘Photographers & TV Crews’ below).
Inside DICK’s Sporting Goods Park
- Media must wear a mask at all times and practice physical distancing from one another and others whenever possible.
- Media must maintain physical distance from Tier 1 or Tier 2 Individuals at all times (staff wearing green and yellow lanyards).
- Media members are NOT permitted in close proximity to players, coaches, or other Tier 1 or Tier 2 Individuals at any time.
- Media members are required to wash or disinfect their hands frequently and may be required to wear gloves in certain instances.
- Credentialed photographers can access the field via the stairwell in the North Building after entering through the Media Entrance near Gate H.
Photographers & TV Crews
In order to receive field access to photograph/film Rapids matches, photographers must complete one of the following:
- Submit proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 OR
- Complete an on-site COVID-19 test prior to the match
Instructions on how to sign up for testing will be sent to you in the email confirming your media credential application has been approved.
All photographers and ENG crews will be required to wear bibs that will be checked out to you at Media Check-In upon arrival.
- There will be a basket by the Media Entrance for you to deposit the bibs on your way out.
Press Box & Photo Workroom
- The Press Box is located on the 3rd floor of the West Building and is accessible via the staircase or elevator inside the Media Entrance.
- Photographers and ENG crews covering the match may use the Press Level area as a workroom.
Postgame Press Conferences
- Matchday media availability will be conducted virtually due to health & safety protocols. Media members in the Press Box will be provided links by Rapids Communications staff to join postgame press conferences.
- There will be NO access to locker rooms or other restricted areas near players, coaches or other Tier 1 & 2 staff members.
