Midfielder Cole Bassett helped the Rapids to a win on Saturday night as Colorado defeated New England Revolution 2-1. His 48th-minute set-piece header marks his third goal of the season.

After Andrew Gutman was taken down on the left wing in the Rapids' final third, Connor Ronan stepped up to take the free kick and delivered the assist to Bassett in the box, marking his eighth of the year.

"[In the] second half, we came out really hot," the Homegrown said after the match. "We said at halftime, 'Aright, we didn't have the best half, but come out with energy these first 10 minutes. Try to impose a little bit on them.' And we did that, and I think it continued until we got our second goal, and then for me, I think we sat a little bit too much. But we got the win, which is what we needed, and we're happy about that.”

Forward Calvin Harris put the exclamation mark on the Rapids' win at home with a goal of his own, capitalizing off a transition moment and slotting a far-post shot home in the 62nd minute.
