COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — The Colorado Rapids announced today the club has acquired San Jose Earthquakes natural third-round pick in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft in exchange for the rights to goalkeeper William Yarbrough.
“We’d like to thank Will for his contributions on and off of the field during his time at the club,” said Colorado Rapids President Pádraig Smith. “We wish him all the best in the future.”
Yarbrough departs as the club’s record-holder for the most shutouts in club history (33), ranking third in appearances (101), starts (101), minutes played in goal (9,044), wins (37) and saves (318) -- all are in the regular season.
The Aguascalientes, Mexico native originally joined the Rapids in March 2020 on a one-year loan from Liga MX club León before signing a three-year contract with the Rapids in February 2021.
