And we're officially underway!
4' - First big chance early for the Rapids as winger Lucas Esteves slots a cross in the box to striker Diego Rubio, but the ball passes through Rubio's defender's feet as he's caught offside.
7' - Colorado is awarded a free kick outside the right corner of Comunicaciones' box as Michael Barrios is taken down on an offensive run. Jack Price's kick sails through the box and out for a corner.
9' - Captain Price's corner is recycled into the box and shot by defender Danny Wilson, but the shot is saved.
10' - Another shot for the Rapids as Price collects a ball at the top of the box and the captain fires it on frame, but the deflected save is gathered out of danger.
16' - After an altercation on the field and VAR consultation, Comunicaciones' Stheven Robles is shown the red card and removed.
25' - Esteves sets Rubio up for another chance at the six, but it sails over the striker's head and collected by the keeper.
GOAL - 29'
In his home debut in burgundy, Max gets on the end of a deflected Keegan Rosenberry cross and sends a shot rocketing into the back of the net to put Colorado up by one.
Halftime - 45'
The Rapids lead by one goal going into the half with Max's home debut goal. In the first 45 Colorado held the offensive advantage, outshooting Comunicaciones 13 to 1 and taking five corners. In order to advance to the Quarterfinals, the Rapids must hold a two-goal lead at full time to make up the deficit created by Leg One's 1-0 loss in Guatemala. If the score remains at 1-0 at the final whistle the two sides will advance into PKs.
57' - Corner by Price bounces out and the shot is taken outside the right of the box by Rosenberry sails wide of the post.
65' - Colorado makes its first sub of the night as Jonathan Lewis replaces Max in the midfield.
78' - Mark-Anthony Kaye sends a shot sailing in from far outside the left corner of the box but the keeper gets a hand on it at the last second.
89' - Rubio spins on top of a pass in the box and sends one into the net but after VAR review the striker is ruled offside and the goal is rescinded.
FULLTIME - 90' + 7'
After Rubio's goal was rescinded, the score remains at 1-0 advantage Rapids and the match moves into PKs to decide the Round of 16 winner and who will go on to Quarterfinals.
