The CONCACAF Gold Cup Trophy Tour will roll through DICK'S Sporting Goods Park on Friday, May 3 in advance of this summer's Gold Cup Group A doubleheader featuring Mexico vs Canada and Cuba vs Martinique on June 19 at Broncos Stadium at Mile High.

As part of the trophy tour, fans attending the Colorado Rapids vs Vancouver Whitecaps FC match will be able to see the trophy in person and take photos with the cup at the top of section 109.

The golden trophy will be lifted by the winner of the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup – the official national team championship of the region that will feature some of the top players of North and Central America and the Caribbean. Drawing large crowds and millions of television viewers from across the region, the Gold Cup is a celebration of soccer, sportsmanship, and culture.

Denver hosted two Gold Cup group matches the last time the tournament was played in 2017, drawing 49,121 for a doubleheader featuring El Salvador vs Curaçao and Mexico vs Jamaica. The 2019 Gold Cup is the 15th edition of the tournament, and will be the biggest yet, including 16 teams, the most to ever participate in the tournament.

Denver has a prime chance to impress the soccer world in advance of the 2026 World Cup that the US will take part in hosting. Denver is one of the final cities being considered to host World Cup matches.
