The Rapids Academy is set to face off against some of the biggest clubs in the region as they compete in the Generation adidas Cup from March 27 to April 4 in Bradenton, Florida, at IMG Academy. This year 88 teams from 14 countries and four continents will be featured, including eight teams in an expanded Girls Division.
The Rapids Academy will send both a U-15 and U-16 team to the tournament and will face clubs LAFC, Mile Gully FC, Charlotte FC, D.C. United, FC Copenhagen, and San Jose Earthquakes.

Competition Format
- 40 teams, divided into 10 groups of four, will compete in each of the two age divisions.
- Each team will play three group matches to determine qualification for the knockout round.
- 16 teams will qualify for the winner’s side of the draw with winning teams advancing to play in a bracket-style elimination format.
- All teams competing in Generation adidas Cup are guaranteed to play six 60-minute matches, comprised of two 30-minute halves.
