Jackson Travis undergoes successful surgery to repair core muscle injury

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. - Colorado Rapids defender Jackson Travis has undergone successful surgery to repair a core muscle injury, the club announced today. Travis will immediately begin his rehabilitation process and is expected to miss the remainder of the season.

 A product of the Rapids Academy, Travis signed with the Colorado Rapids as a Homegrown Player in March 2022. The 18-year-old defender has spent the majority of the 2022 campaign training and playing with Rapids 2 in its inaugural MLS NEXT Pro season. Travis has appeared in the Rapids 2 starting lineup in five matches this season and has recorded two assists for the team in his seven games on the pitch.
