COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — The Colorado Rapids announced that Rapids Academy defender Jaden Chan Tack was named to the Trinidad & Tobago U-20 National Team. Chan Tack joined the group for their upcoming training camp in preparation for CONCACAF Under-20 World Cup Qualifiers this February. Â
Chan Tack, 18, received his first call up within the Trinidad & Tobago youth international system. He joined the group for their initial training camp in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago from December 19 – 25. Following his return to Colorado, Chan Tack will rejoin the team during the week of January 19 for multiple friendlies.Â
The defender has been with Rapids Academy since 2023 and has featured with the club across multiple levels, including at the professional level with Rapids 2 in MLS NEXT Pro. With Rapids 2, Chan Tack has made 10 appearances, six of which being starts, and logged 512 minutes.Â
At the academy level, the defender was an integral part of the Rapids Academy U18 group that made it to the GA Cup Final this year. Chan Tack played a major role in the tournament, starting in six out of the seven matches the group played. During the MLS NEXT regular season, he started in 12 matches for the U18 group while recording 10 goal contributions as a left back. Â
