COMMERCE CITY, Colo. - Colorado Rapids Academy goalkeeper Adam Beaudry has been called up to the U.S. U-17 Men’s Youth National Team training camp as the team prepares for the 2023 Concacaf U-17 Championship being held in Guatemala from February 11-26. Beaudry will participate in the team camp in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from January 5-13 under head coach Gonzalo Segares.

“We are thrilled to see Adam called into another national team camp. His continued inclusion speaks to the consistency and quality of his work with the national team and the Rapids U-17 team,” said Chris Cartlidge, Academy Technical Director. “Adam is very dedicated to his work both on and off the field. His willingness to go the extra mile sets him up for success as he continues to develop as a goalkeeper.”

Beaudry, a Rapids U-17 goalkeeper, has made impressive strides during his first year with the organization after joining in 2021 from local youth club Real Colorado. The 16-year-old keeper earned an official call up to the national team for the Vaclav Jezek Youth Tournament and a spot on the inaugural MLS NEXT All-Star team representing the Western Conference during the 2022 season. His performances in goal allowed Beaudry to claim a spot on the club’s MLS NEXT Pro team, Rapids 2, where he made his professional debut on July 27, 2022, playing 45 minutes in the team’s win over Premier League 2 side Wolves U-21. Beaudry currently occupies a starting position on the Rapids Academy U-17 team and has maintained one clean sheet in eight starts in the team’s 2022-23 MLS NEXT season.
