COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — Rapids Academy midfielder Adam Amireh has been called up to the Canada Men’s U-16 National Team for their training camp and upcoming friendlies against Chile. Amireh will join Canada in Chile for training camp that starts on August 14 and will play multiple friendlies before they return on August 24.Â
Canada’s U16 group will play two matches during this window, with Head Coach Adam Miller’s side matching up against Chile on Thursday, August 20 and Sunday, August 23.Â
Amireh is new to Rapids Academy, having just joined the club this past summer. The midfielder will start the 2026-27 MLS NEXT season with the U-18 age group.
