COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — Rapids Academy midfielder Adam Amireh was named to Canada's Men’s U-16 National Team for their upcoming training camp and international friendlies in Costa Rica, Canada Soccer announced. Amireh will report to the U-16 squad on November 6 for a training camp featuring two friendly matches before concluding on November 15.
During the camp, Canada will face Costa Rica on November 11 before taking on the United States on November 14. Both matches will be held at the FCRF-Plycem Complex in Alajuela, Costa Rica, under head coach Mike Vitulano.
This camp will serve as important preparation for the 2010 age group as it prepares for the next Concacaf U-17 Men’s Qualifiers, where teams compete for a place in the FIFA U-17 World Cup
Amireh joined the Rapids Academy this past summer and began the 2026-27 MLS NEXT season with the U-18 age group. So far this season, Amireh has totaled 480 minutes and recorded five assists across the club's games and friendlies.
