• The Rapids fell to St. Louis CITY SC 0-3 to be eliminated from the 2026 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. 
• Designated Player Morgan Whittaker made his first start with the club in the Semifinal match. He made his club and home debut in the Rapids' recent victory over CF Montréal. 
• Loïc Williams, Sayed Abu Farkhi and Whittaker all made their Open Cup debuts in the match.
