COMMERCE CITY, Colo. – The Colorado Rapids announced today the club has loaned Bryce Jamison and Jabari De Coteau to Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC of the USL Championship for the remainder of the 2026 season. As part of the agreement, the Rapids retain the right to recall Jamison and De Coteau at any time.
“This loan will give Bryce and Jabari a chance to continue getting quality minutes at a high level,” said Colorado Rapids Sporting Director Fran Taylor. “With the MLS NEXT Pro season coming to a close, we think this is a great opportunity for both of these players to continue their development in a professional environment through the end of October.”
Jamison, 20, is in his first season with the Rapids since signing a contract with the club in April of 2025. After spending the remainder of the 2025 season with his previous club, Orange County SC, the forward has been playing in Burgundy for Rapids 2 in MLS NEXT Pro. With the Second Team, Jamison has appeared in all 22 matches so far this season. In that span, he logged 1,452 minutes with two goals in 15 starts.
Jamison has received numerous international call ups to various age groups within the United States youth international system. Over the course of his career, the Atlanta born forward has represented the U-17, U-19, and U-20 levels, with his most recent call up coming with the U-20 group for their training camp back in June of this year. Back in 2023, the forward played a key role for the nation’s U-17 side during their FIFA U-17 World Cup campaign, appearing in all four matches during their run to the tournament’s Round of 16.
De Coteau, 21, is also in his first season with the club since being acquired with the 86th overall pick in the 2026 MLS SuperDraft and signing a contract with Rapids 2 this offseason. In his debut season, the defender has appeared in all but one match, logging 1,615 minutes with one assist over 22 appearances. His play throughout preseason and the beginning of the year earned him a short-term call up to the First Team back in March.
The Brooklyn, New York, native’s performances in recent months garnered attention internationally, with the defender earning his first international call-up to the Grenada Men’s National Team in March. De Coteau was with Grenada for a set of friendlies, eventually making his international debut on March 27 against Rwanda. In total, the defender made two appearances with his country during that window, starting both and playing the entire match.
