Serna International Roundup

Three Rapids players are away on international duty for their respective national teams at the moment.

Dillon Serna played 73 minutes in the US U23 MNT’s 5-1 loss to Brazil on Sunday, their second matchup with the country in five days. Serna provided the corner kick that led to Brazil’s own goal which was the only bright spot of the contest for the US. He came on as a substitute in the 74th minute of the first matchup which ended in a 2-1 loss for the US.

Designated Player Kevin Doyle was an unused substitute as Ireland drew 1-1 with Bosnia and Herzegovina in the first of two matches against the side. Ireland won the second match 2-0 to book their place in Euro 2016 next year in France.

Maynor Figueroa went the full 90 with Honduras in their two matches, both losses, 1-0 to Canada on Friday and 2-0 to Mexico on Tuesday.
