- Goalkeeper Nico Hansen will start between the sticks for the first time this season as Zack Steffen is out with injury for Saturday's match. Hansen made ten appearances in goal last season, recording three clean sheets and 38 saves in those games played.
- Striker Rafael Navarro will don the captain's armband against the Galaxy on Saturday night, his first appointment as captain as a Rapid.
- Goalkeeper Zackory Campagnolo has earned a short-term call up to the first team for Saturday's match. In accordance with the 2025 MLS Roster Rules and Regulations, a club may sign a player, age 25 or younger during the league season, from its affiliate (MLS NEXT Pro) to a maximum of four Short-Term Agreements (up to four-day contracts) each season (maximum of 16 days). This is Campagnolo's second-ever call up to the first team, the first being in April 2025.
- All goal contributors from last weekend's victory over Portland (Hamzat Ojediran, Lucas Herrington, Dante Sealy, Paxten Aaronson) return to the Starting XI on Saturday night.
