Roster Notes

  • Defender Lucas Herrington returns to the Rapids Starting XI after making his World Cup debut with Australia this summer. The 18-year-old made two appearances in the tournament, becoming the youngest active MLS player to appear and start in the global competition. Herrington returned to the Rapids pitch in the team's first outing since the break, coming into the midweek match against San Diego FC late in the second half to close out the 1-0 victory.
  • Loïc Williams records his second start in his second appearance on Saturday night for Colorado, following his club and league debut in a midweek victory over San Diego FC. He dons the captain's armband for the first time on Saturday. The defender scored in his debut, a 95th-minute game winner at DICK'S Sporting Goods Park. Williams earned a spot on the MLS Team of the Week Starting XI for the standout debut performance.
  • Donavan Phillip makes his second appearance on the gameday roster this season after making his MLS and club debut on Wednesday night in the Rapids' win over San Diego FC.
  • Midfielder Wayne Frederick returns to the gameday lineup after serving a red card suspension earned in the Rapids' contest with FC Dallas in May. Frederick was recently signed to a multi-year contract through the 2029-30 MLS season, with a club option for 2030-31.
  • Forward Rafael Navarro, 36, is one goal shy of tying John Spencer for fifth place on the club’s all-time goals list. The Brazilian is also one assist away from tying his single-season career high in MLS (5 in 2024 and 2025).
  • Defender Keegan Rosenberry is one appearance away from 200 as a member of the Rapids.
