Tale of the Tape | Stefan Aigner vs. Carlos Gruezo | Colorado Rapids vs. FC Dallas

2017.10.04 Tale of the Tape

Stefan Aigner followed up his first MLS appearance at FC Dallas with his first start at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, during which he scored his first goal.

As Dallas roll into Commerce City this Saturday (TICKETS), Aigner will seek to use his and the team's momentum from last weekend's win over Montreal Impact.

Facing the Rapids will be a Dallas side brimming with technical talent, including Ecuador international defensive midfielder Carlos Gruezo. In his second season in MLS, the 22-year-old Young Designated Player has made more appearances (28) and starts (27) than in 2016, and will be one of those keeping close tabs on Aigner.

Both players have experience of the German Bundesliga - Aigner with Eintracht Frankfurt, and Gruezo with VfB Stuttgart.
