Week 7: Rosenberry, Bassett Named to MLS Team of the Week

Two Colorado Rapids players were named to the MLS Team of the Week after their dominant 3-0 win over FC Dallas on Saturday.

Defender Keegan Rosenberry was named to the starting XI for his efforts in the clean sheet victory, Colorado’s fourth win in five. The 27-year-old scored the eventual game-winning goal on a blistering shot from distance.

Rosenberry is joined by midfielder Cole Bassett, who picked up an assist on Michael Barrios’ goal in the second half. The 19-year-old midfielder curled a beautiful long ball up the wing to Barrios, who cut in and rifled his second goal in as many games to make it 3-0.
