MacMath stepped back in between the sticks during the absence of Tim Howard through suspension, and gave Rapids fans a gentle reminder of his quality. His displays over three games kept the Rapids competitive, despite them losing on each occasion. Indeed, he was twice nominated for MLS Save of the Week, and came out on top on both occasions.
