Colorado Rapids forward Joe Mason returns to Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C.

Colorado Rapids Soccer Club announced that on-loan forward Joe Mason will return to English club Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. Mason, 27, appeared in 14 matches, nine from the start, and scored three goals in 758 minutes for the Rapids. He will officially report back to Wolves on Friday, July 27.

He was an unused substitute for the season opener at New England Revolution (3/10), having met his new teammates for the first time in Boston.
Scored eight minutes into his MLS debut, netting the Rapids' second goal of a 2-2 home tie with Sporting Kansas City (3/24).
On target for a second time with the opening goal of the 1-1 tie at FC Dallas (4/7).
Sat out the 2-0 home win over Toronto FC (4/14) and 3-0 loss at Real Salt Lake (4/21) due to a quad injury, and was replaced in the starting lineup by Jack McBean on both occasions.
Returned to starting lineup for the 2-1 home loss by Orlando City SC (4/29). He was replaced by Yannick Boli after 54 minutes.
Replaced Jack McBean at halftime of the 1-0 defeat at Sporting Kansas City (5/5).
