In conjunction with Major League Soccer, Colorado Rapids Soccer Club announced today that the club’s 2019 regular season home opener will take place on Saturday, March 2 against the Portland Timbers. Kickoff at DICK’s Sporting Goods Park is scheduled for 4:00 PM.

The Rapids, who are 14-3-6 all-time in home openers, are currently riding a five-game unbeaten streak (3-0-2). In addition, Colorado and Portland will open up the regular season in Commerce City for the third time after the two sides battled to a 2-0 win in the inaugural match of the 2014 campaign, and before that a 3-1 win in 2011.

During the 2019 MLS regular season, each club will play 34 games, including 17 home games and 17 away games. Teams will face each of their conference opponents twice during the season, with one game at home and one game away. All teams will face each non-conference opponent once.

Colorado’s full 2019 regular season schedule, including all match dates and kickoff times will be announced at a later date. For more information or to purchase tickets, please visit ColoradoRapids.com or call 303-825-GOAL.
