Did you know that there are five Coloradans representing their country in the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup?
Lindsey Horan (Golden) and Mallory Pugh (Highlands Ranch) earned spots on the US roster, while Janine Beckie (Highlands Ranch) and Estelle Johnson (Fort Collins) will represent Canada and Cameroon, respectively. Lorne Donaldson will also be attending the 2019 Women's World Cup at the helm of the Jamaican team.
What does this mean for the soccer fan in Colorado? It means, we'll be celebrating the sport we love all month long!

WORLD SOCCER CELEBRATION 5K
July 7th is a big day for the sport of soccer as the Women's World Cup Final and CONCACAF Gold Cup Final both take place that day.
Begin your Soccer Sunday at 8:00 AM by running or walking a 5K at DICK'S Sporting Goods Park. Once you cross the finish line, show off your soccer skills at the Fan Fest Skill Zone and grab a bite to eat at Eighteen 76.
Registration for the 5K is $25 per person and includes access to the Fan Fest and a commemorative scarf. The World Soccer Celebration 5K has partnered with Charity Ball, and a portion of each registration will go towards Charity Ball’s One Life Project.

WATCH PARTY: 2019 FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP FINAL
What's better than watching the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup Final? If you answered, 'Watching it on the big screen inside of DICK'S Sporting Goods Park with all of your friends' then you are correct! Gates for the watch party are free for all, and will open at 8:30 AM on July 7 just in time for the first kick at 9:00 AM. Food and drinks will be available in Eighteen76 and at concession stands throughout the stadium. Activities inside of the stadium will include soccer tennis, giant Jenga, cornhole and more!
