Minnesota United FC continue a busy stretch looking to rebound from a loss to FC Dallas on the weekend when they take on a Colorado Rapids team seeking a second straight upset after knocking off surging San Jose at Dick's Sporting Goods Park Saturday.

The Loons (11-8-5) had a seven-match unbeaten streak snapped and dropped to third in the West following a 5-3 loss to FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium Saturday night. Ethan Finlay had a first-half brace, opening the scoring in the 11th minute and equalizing 30 minutes later following goals by Ryan Hollingshead and Santiago Mosquera. Reggie Cannon put the hosts in front at the break with a 45th-minute goal. Hassani Dotson leveled for the Loons in the 73rd minute, but Brandon Servania netted a late brace to lift FC Dallas to a wild win.

The Rapids (7-12-5) made it two wins in a row and handed the San Jose Earthquakes just their second loss in the last 13 games with a 2-1 home win Saturday night. Kellyn Acosta broke the stalemate just before halftime and Vako leveled for the Quakes in the 62nd minute. Diego Rubio put Colorado ahead for good with a nifty finish past a diving Daniel Vega from the top of the area in the 74th minute.

This is the second meeting this year with Kei Kamara scoring the lone goal, heading in a Jack Price corner kick just before the half-hour mark to lead the Rapids to a 1-0 win in Commerce City June 8.
