The Rocky Mountain Cup is on the line Saturday night as Real Salt Lake looks to take home the silverware for a fourth consecutive year when they host the Colorado Rapids as part of Heineken Rivalry Week.

RSL (12-10-4) had a six-match unbeaten streak, and three-match winning streak, snapped Saturday night at home, falling to LAFC, 2-0. Carlos Vela opened the scoring in the 64th minute and Adama Diomande doubled the advantage in the 82nd minute for the visitors. Vela's goal made history. With 24 goals and 15 assists in 2019, no player in league history has been involved in more goals scored in a single-season.

The Rapids (7-13-6) rebounded from a loss at Minnesota United to earn a 2-2 draw against the Houston Dynamo Saturday at BBVA Stadium. Diego Rubio struck for a first-half brace to give the visitors a two-goal halftime lead, but Mauro Manotas responded in kind with a pair of goals in the second half for a share of the points.
