eMLS League Series Two set in the Rose City this Saturday

It's time for the second eMLS event of the year as the scene switches coasts from Philadelphia to Portland, Oregon for League Series Two, presented by Coca-Cola and PlayStation. The tournament will feature some of the top EA Sports FIFA players in the world competing not only for a title, but a cash prize as well. Whether you're new to the eMLS or competitive gaming scenes or just want the latest information on how to watch and attend the event, we've got you covered right here.

What is League Series Two and how does it work?

League Series Two is the second of three eMLS tournaments taking place in 2020. It was preceded by League Series One, won by FC Cincinnati's FCC Fiddle, and will be followed by eMLS Cup in March. Players from 25 MLS teams (including 2021 expansion side Austin FC) will compete to be crowned League Series Two champion as well as for points in the 2020 eMLS standings. The League Series Two winner will also receive a $7,500 cash prize.

All 25 players will play 12 games during the regular-season portion of the event, which takes place on Friday. The top eight overall players (regardless of conference) will qualify for the live-stream portion of the event on Saturday (7:00 PM-10:30 PM ET), with the host club (in this case the Portland Timbers) guaranteed a place on the live stream no matter their player's result.

Can I attend?

Yes! If you're in the Rose City this weekend, you can still sign up to attend the event on  evening, which will take place at Pure Space in Portland's Pearl District:

Doors open at 6 pm ET (3:00 PM local time), and the event will run until approximately until 10:30 PM ET (7:30 pm local).

In addition to being able to catch some elite FIFA esports and cheer on your team of choice, those in attendance will also be able to mingle with special guests from the Portland Timbers, receive exclusive eMLS x Portland Timbers merchandise, design customized eMLS apparel and play FIFA 20 at open-play stations.

How to watch and follow?

If you can't make it to Pure Space Saturday afternoon, but want to watch, fear not. The entirety of Saturday's event will be live streamed on Twitch and Twitter, as well as right here on MLSsoccer.com and the MLS mobile app.

In addition to the live stream, fans can follow the results of their team's player and get up-to-date standings for both Friday's non-streamed games (1:00 PM–8:00 PM ET; 10:00 AM–5:00 PM local) and Saturday's main event.
