Rapids Forward Niki Jackson to Undergo Knee Surgery on ACL, Meniscus

Colorado Rapids forward Nicki Jackson will undergo knee surgery on March 10 to repair ACL and meniscus damage suffered in training on February 21. It is expected Jackson will be sidelined for six to eight months as he recovers.


Jackson, who is currently on loan with Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, was selected by the Rapids in the fourth round of the 2018 MLS SuperDraft. The Memphis, Tennessee, native spent the 2019 season on loan with Charlotte Independence where he recorded five goals and two assists from 23 appearances with the USL Championship side.
