Gordo_Keel_July11

As of today, it’s official: MLS is Back. Now, we just have to wait a few more days until the Rapids are back in action (July 12 at 8:30 PM – but who’s counting?)

While there won’t be fans in the stands on Sunday, there will be plenty of options for those of us at home to tune-in and get the full game day experience.

ESPN, ESPN+, ESPN Deportes and TSN

Every Rapids group stage match will be broadcast on all ESPN platforms as well as on TSN, for our friends in Canada. The first match will be begin at 8:30 PM MT on Sunday and is set to feature a unique broadcast experience – complete with cameras on drones, virtual scoreboards and more. There will be no artificial crowd noise in the broadcasts but rather microphones lining the field, to give the fans a real on-the-pitch experience. Second Screen Experience

While the match is being broadcast nationally on ESPN, Rapids fans will have the opportunity to come together virtually with our brand new Second Screen Experience. This new Virtual Fan Watch party will bring our gameday traditions to life and allow for conversations around the match.

Check out Colorado Rapids YouTube and ColoradoRapids.com/Live and join Altitude Radio's Connor Cape, MLS legend Alan Gordon and MLS host Stephen Keel as they chat with fans about the match, offer up polls and exclusive content. This experience is not designed to replace the broadcast – but rather be an option for fans to pull out on their laptop, tablet or mobile device alongside the match on ESPN and engage with the rest of the Rapids community in real time.
