Notes:

Home Field Advantage

The Rapids have had a great deal of success under head coach Robin Fraser on their home turf. Since joining the Rapids nearly a year ago, on August 25, 2019, Fraser has gone undefeated in Colorado, with a 4-0-0 record and 9-2 scoring advantage.

League Leading Lewis

After scoring two goals in his last two appearances, Jonathan Lewis now leads the team with three goals from 74 minutes played this season. This has him averaging 3.65 goals every 90 minutes, currently the highest average in MLS among players with three plus goals this season. He is also the league leader in goals among players without a start. "His effect has been remarkable," head coach Robin Fraser said of the winger's performances this season. "Every time he comes on, he's involved in a number of attacks. Certainly has scored really important goals for us. His work rate has been great."

Rocky Mountain Cup on the Line

Saturday's match will serve as the first competition of this season's Rocky Mountain Cup. Typically, any regular season matchup against RSL has counted toward the RMC. This season, with the MLS is Back Tournament and ongoing schedule adjustments as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, things have adjusted. While both teams previously face off in Orlando, the clubs' two supporters groups have agreed that only the next two matchups between these two sides will count towards the Cup. There is one caveat: this is only if the matches go on as scheduled. If one of the matches is canceled or relocated, then the Cup will not be awarded this year.
