Rapids Announce Remaining Regular Season Schedule, Featuring Four Home, Five Away Matches

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — The Colorado Rapids announced today their remaining 2020 MLS regular season schedule.

Following their two home matches this week against the San Jose Earthquakes on Wednesday and Sporting Kansas City on Sunday, the Rapids (4-4-4, 16 pts) will play an additional nine games to conclude the 2020 regular season:

  • Saturday, Oct. 3 — at Portland Timbers; 8 p.m. MT
  • Wednesday, Oct. 7 — LAFC; 7 p.m. MT
  • Saturday Oct. 10 — LA Galaxy; 5 p.m. MT
  • Wednesday, Oct.14 — at Seattle Sounders FC; 8 p.m. MT
  • Sunday, Oct. 18 — Real Salt Lake; 7 p.m. MT
  • Saturday, Oct. 24 — at Sporting Kansas City; 6:30 p.m. MT
  • Wednesday, Oct. 28 — at Minnesota United FC; 6 p.m. MT
  • Sunday, Nov. 1 — Seattle Sounders FC; 7 p.m. MT
  • Sunday, Nov. 8 — at Houston Dynamo; 4:30 p.m MT

The top eight teams from the Western Conference will advance directly to Round 1 of the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, which has been expanded to 18 teams for the 2020 iteration.

The Rapids’ schedule announcement comes days after their plan to reopen DICK’s Sporting Goods Park was approved by the Colorado Department of Public Health Environment (CDPHE). The club will announce additional details, including ticketing information and the schedule of matches with fans, at a later date.
