Report a Concern

Per federal law, reports of allegations of child abuse (of any kind – sexual, emotional, or physical abuse) must be made IMMEDIATELY to law enforcement and the U.S. Center for SafeSport. Reporting is an ongoing obligation; you must report new information you learn. You should not evaluate the credibility of the allegations. Leave assessments to the groups listed below.

For more information on reporting allegations of abuse or misconduct in sport and/or at the Colorado Rapids, please read the Club’s Reporting Policy and click the links to report an allegation to the appropriate reporting body below.

Law Enforcement

  • In the event of an emergency, call 911.
  • In Colorado, report child abuse by calling the Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline: 1-844-CO-4-KIDS.
  • Submit a report to the Colorado Department of Human Services by calling 303-866-3275.
  • For reports in other states, please refer to the U.S. Department of Human Services’ State Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Numbers.

To fulfill your mandatory reporting obligation, ask for the applicable case number and make sure to include it in your subsequent reports to the Center, U.S. Soccer, and MLS.

U.S. Center for SafeSport

  • Report by calling 833-5US-SAFE (587-7233)
  • Report online via the Center's Reporting Form
  • Include the case number of your law enforcement report in your report to the Center, if a report to law enforcement was required. To fulfill your mandatory reporting obligation, provide an email address to send receipt of your report to. Save the file.

Major League Soccer

  • Report by calling 844-782-0353 (MLS) at 646-682-5200 (MLS NEXT) or
  • Report online via the MLS Reporting Form.
  • To fulfill your reporting obligation, save your Report Key and password in case you need to provide more information on the event (if reporting via form). Save all emails sent to the MLS regarding the event.
