The SuperDraft room is set, the Rapids technical staff arrives at their designated seats to go over their plans one final time before the draft begins.

The Rapids announce the signing of US international midfielder Benny Feilhaberto a one year contract with an option for 2020. The free agent joins Colorado after playing with LAFC last season and becomes the seventh signing ahead of the 2019 MLS season. Learn more about the MLS veteran here!

The Rapids move up ten places in the first round after agreeing to a trade with the Chicago Fire. With the fifth pick in the 2019 SuperDraft they select goalscorer Andre Shinyashiki from the University of Denver. In return, the Rapids send the15th pick and $100K in GAM to the Chicago Fire.

Rapids Defender Kortne Ford tweets out a congratulations message to his former DU teammate and newest Colorado Rapids teammate.

The Rapids announce the trade of midfielder Marlon Hairston to the Houston Dynamo for $175,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM). Hairston departs the club after spending the last five seasons with the Rapids.

The Rapids select versatile defender Marcello Borges from the University of Michigan with the 28th overall pick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft.

The Rapids select athletic central defender Jacob Hauser-Ramsey from the University of Connecticut with the 42nd overall pick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft.
