Mexico head to Dick's Sporting Goods Park after tie with Chile

Mexico vs. Chile 2014

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - In a match of few chances, Mexico and Chile played out a goalless draw in front of more than 67,000 fans at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Saturday night.

Mexico now head to Commerce City for a meeting with Bolivia at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Tuesday, kick-off 8 p.m MT (TICKETS).

Between them, Mexico and Chile managed just six shots, with the South American side the only one managing a shot on target..It was Guillermo Ochoa, in the Mexican goal, who was the busier. Only two fine saves from the 29-year-old kept Chile off the scoresheet.

Mexico head coach, Miguel Herrera rang the changes after the interval, making six substitutions, although two of those were forced upon him. Giovani Dos Santos limped out of the contest after 66 minutes with what appeared to be a muscle injury, making him a doubt for Tuesday's match against Bolivia. Francisco Rodriguez was replaced at half-time, and there are question marks over his involvement in Colorado.

This was a match involving two teams knocked out at the Round of 16 stage of the FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Mexico led for much of their match-up with the Netherlands, before conceding two late goals to go out 2-1. Chile succumbed to the hosts on penalties after a 0-0 draw after extra-time.
